CHEMSPACE is a new web based tool currently being developed that allows molecular structures to be mapped onto the known chemical space.
The tool will allow the researcher to see where their molecules are in the chemical space in relation to known compounds, known drugs and to compounds with drug like properties. The map will show whether a compound is in a well populated region of chemical space or whether it is novel. This open access tool will provide valuable information to those who are planning early drug discovery research.
